From February 28 to March 2, the second international instructors course was held in Livingston, Scotland. ITF Taekwon-Do Norway was represented by two participants.
The course was performed by four VIII. Degree Masters from ITF; Master Tran Triue Quan, Master Pablo Trajtenberg, Master Hector Marano and Master Wim Bos.
The entire course was marked by the Masters grate intensity, knowledge and their devotion to ITF Taekwon-Do. Together they made a fabulous quartet. They were not only Masters of the correct techniques, but they also had the ability to give us an open doorway and leading us to Taekwon-Do's mental and philosophical aspects. During and especially after the course, we were filled with strong impressions and the feeling of that our founder General Choi Hong His legacy will carry on through these four Masters.
Since we attended the course and had the allowance, we took the opportunity to apply for a higher degree. The examination panel consisted of the four Masters. As a result, we are the first Norwegians to experience the new demands and standards during examinations held by the ITF. When the results were announced, we were really happy and satisfied knowing we had achieved and found worthy of our new degress.
On behalf of Mr. Ray Nicolaisen and myself, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank the Masters for sharing their skills, as well as their devotion to ITF Taekwon-Do.
We would also like to thank Master Sutherland and her assistants for organizing the course.
